  • Collaborated with the Product Marketing team to build a sales demo of the WP Engine platform. This demo was used to win a number of enterprise customers and used in a presentation with Gartner that resulted in WP Engine being placed in their Web Content Management recommendations.
  • Implemented GDPR compliance across WP Engine properties, including building a custom Node-based API to track GDPR consent.
  • As part of the Digital Experience Team, helped to build a redesign of wpengine.com, which included creating a landing page builder, personalized content for users, and localized content. The website won the 2018 WMA WebAward for Outstanding Achievement.
  • Planned and created a front-end build process for the website using Webpack, CircleCI, and Jest testing.
  • Guided JavaScript standards and lead adoption of modern ES6 standards for the team. Mentored junior developers, and helped with code review for all other developers.

  • Created a performance audit and implemented significant performance improvements for ESPN’s FiveThirtyEight. Also consulted on and led front-end development for a redesign of the site. Served as the lead front-end developer on the ESPN account.
  • Developed a number of high-profile special articles for ESPN’s Grantland.
  • Worked with The Wrap on a redesign of their site, completing the majority of the front-end development for the site and much of the ad integration.
